A quick primer in how to improvise in the style of Shakespeare, both soliloquies and dialog: how to fall into the rhythm of speech, playing with status, metaphor and simile, and much more. Steve was the director of The Robert Cycle at ImprovBoston, a weekly summerlong show about a fictional cycle of English Kings Robert, Robert I through Robert XI, and he is currently teaching an eight-week conservatory class on this subject at Philly Improv Theater.
