When you audition for TV sketch comedy shows like Saturday Night Live, or VH1's StevieTV, or even sketch groups at comedy theaters in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, you're usually asked to submit a character reel - or 4 minutes of your best characters and impressions. In this one-day workshop, we will explore the unique characters and celebrity impersonations that are best suited just for you and your character reel. You will also learn techniques and tricks of the trade for assembling the strongest reel possible.
Bio:
Megan has been coaching, teaching and directing for over 10 years. She has worked with a wide variety of comics and sketch comedians, as well as doing one-one-one coaching for many clients including Ashton Kutcher and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
