Join your hosts Transcend Paranormal and the Hanover Tavern Foundation as we rally to raise funds for the Historic Hanover Tavern!

There has been a Tavern on the property since 1733, when the first license for a Tavern at Hanover Courthouse was issued. The existing Tavern was built in stages and includes more than 12,000 square feet on three floors. The earliest surviving portion of this building dates back to 1791, with additions in the 1820’s, 1830’s and the 1990’s.

Such historical figures as George Washington, Lord Cornwallis, Marquis de Lafayette, Patrick Henry, P.T. Barnum, and even Edgar Allen Poe graced the halls of Hanover Tavern. During the Civil War, both Union and Confederate troops utilized the Tavern.

With so much history packed into this building, has every guest that checked into Hanover Tavern truly checked out? The numerous paranormal teams who have investigated the Tavern would tell you “no”, citing disembodied voices, full body apparitions, and countless EVPs suggesting that no one is ever truly alone in the Tavern.

100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Hanover Tavern Foundation for their continued restoration and protection efforts, as well as educational programming!

With this in mind, we will be doing our due diligence to ensure we meet the CDC and V.A. Dept. of Health regulated guidelines at the time of the event.

We ask that anyone who has been exposed to someone suspected of having COVID-19 within 14 days leading up to the event, to please stay home.
