Our friends Los Lobos, who in the past have come to The Farmstand the day after gigs in the area to join us for breakfast, are at last coming to Feel the Barn on Monday June 23rd. We had often joked with them about "when are you going to play the barn", and now, it is actually happening!
What can you say about Los Lobos that hasn't been said already., a band that should have been ensconced in the Hall of Fame years ago. They came out of East LA in 1973 and have had the same lineup since 1988 when Steve Berlin left The Blasters and joined the band. Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños.
This will be a Night to Remember in Chocorua NH.
