Ren Gesick - Dear Darling at Art Boutiki

The Art Boutiki Music Hall

No upcoming date/times for this event.

Ren Gesick helps launch 2023 at Art Boutiki with a full band show. A singer/songwriter from Los Gatos, Ren's first album, "Ren, Love Song" produced by Jesse Harris, was released in 2017 and, in January 2022, Ren released her complete "Ruby E.P." inspired by the life, and catch phrases, of her Grandma Ruby from Oklahoma. Borrowing elements of jazz, blues, country, and soul, Ren delivers her own brand of Americana that flows seamlessly from a honky tonk romp to an introspective ballad. Ren's got the full band on this show including Chris Motter up from Los Angeles who's guitar playing is the perfect complement to her songwriting.

Jeff Goodkind, piano

Chris Motter, guitar

William Bohrer, bass

Jim Kassis, drums

Dear Darling is the nom de plume of the Sacramento-based trio of Natalie Hagwood (cello and voice), Casey Lipka (bass and voice) and Hannah Jane Kile (guitar and voice). Together, their joyous meld of jazz, folk, classical and pop delivers a fresh new sound that is being recognized both locally and nationally. This is Dear Darling's second visit to The Art Boutiki and we could not be more thrilled to have them back.

This is a show which will simply amaze everyone who is at it. Advance tickets are recommended.

$15 in advance, $18 at the door. All Ages.
