Booksmith is thrilled to host The Queenby for a reception celebrating the release of their new book A Colored Book. Save the date and join us! They'll be in conversation with multimedia artist JesseJae to discuss the book and their artwork.

About the book

As a continuation to "A Colored Chapter," Mx. Bee is now confronting their emotions head on after a psychedelic drug trip that showed them a trauma they can't seem to remember, but without a doubt happened to them. As they go down the rabbit hole, they come to learn about the many shades that makes them who they are today, and hopefully acts as a passage way towards healing and freedom.

About the author

The Queenby (she/they) is a Bay Area-based queer psychedelic collage artist and self-publishing poetic zine maker, and author of the previous book A Colored Chapter. You can find their work on instagram @dontbedumbo_
