Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Periscope’s sound is an uniquely familiar blend of guitar-driven alt-rock, psychedelic synth aesthetic, and pop sensibility. The experience is definitely their own, but drips with nostalgia and nods to the wide range of influences that helped resurface their sonic profile. Musing about life, love, and what it all means in the shadow of the pre-apocalyptic landscape we all currently inhabit - Periscope challenges us to dive deep into the things that make us human, and how to honor and celebrate both the pain and the pleasure of our existence through music and lyrics. 

Joshua aka piscespace (Oakland DJ)

Joshua aka piscespace is a visual storyteller, event organizer and DJ based in Oakland. His passion as an artist is inspired by the collaborative spirit of community and the belief that inclusion is the best ingredient for truthful imagery and experiences. Working from the heart and influence from his family he strives to use sound and space to provide healing and engaging offerings on vinyl that move the body and soul.
