Inspired by the CAC's Ecologies of Elsewhere exhibit, the summer Co-LAB series Backyard Gardens invites participants into the gardens and planting practices of creative BIPOC growers throughout the city to discuss their relationship to food, planting, and the healing power of gardening.

Kicking off the series is a planting workshop in the CAC's outdoor growing space by the South African arts collaborative MADEYOULOOK. Join us explore community gardening with Celeste Treece and bring back seedlings to start your own planting at home.
