The Detroit Kentucky Derby Day Party is without a doubt “The Most Exciting Annual Event in Detroit” featuring the very unique combination of Star-Studded Entertainment and Stunning Apparel housed inside an Elegant Setting making this the city's hottest ticket.

Everyone attending will indulge in Gourmet Food Stations, Premium Open Bar in multiple areas, Complimentary Cigars all while enjoying The Derby Race Experience on Closed Circuit TV - so you won’t miss a minute of the action. 

This Year we take over the Grounds of Marygrove College as we’ve cultivated 3 Creative Spaces including The Open-Air Rose Garden, The Main Ballroom and The Jockeys Lounge. Our stunning floor plan will allow All Guests to enjoy Premium Seating and Total Access to Every Area - Inside x Outside. 

DKDDP 2024 continues our quest to bring a charitable aspect to the event as our beneficiaries include: Morehouse College along with a combined donation to the Black Alumni’s of both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. 

All of the traditional Derby Bells & Whistles are set to astonish attendees and accompany the numerous timeless traditions (Mint Julep, Bourbon Delights & Derby Eats). While enjoying people watching and witty conversation with contemporaries - Live Music will be provided by The Tandem Entertainment Company x Guests in 3 separate spaces.
