The city of Dearborn has traditionally been known for its connections to the Ford Motor Company, which brought people from all across the world to the Metro Detroit region. The influence of the automotive industry persists even today with factories, facilities, historic homesteads and even museums. So, what does Dearborn look like today? On this tour, you will learn how the past and present of this city are interwoven, meet the people leading some exciting new projects and see the innovations and adaptations of this important city in the Metro Detroit region.

Tour Duration: 2 hours


Weather Policy:

Tours will occur indefinitely, rain or shine, unless weather prohibits transportation or adversely affects our partners on the date of the tour for the time of the tour. Weather related cancellation or ticket transfer requests will not be approved unless submitted at least 72 hours in advance of the event start time. If a severe weather event causes the tour to be canceled, City Institute will offer to transfer participant tickets to another date or provide a refund.
