Div III Fest - Dante Dreams of the Inferno

EDH Mainstage - Hampshire College

893 West St Emily Dickinson Hall, Amherst, MA, 01002

Free Event

Thu, April 23rd, 2026 @ 6:00PM EDT (multiple times available)

Dante Dreams of the Inferno is a new original work that will be presented as a staged reading exploring themes of Filipino folklore, religion and spirituality, Filipino-American culture, and indigenous identity. Dante and his guide traverse an otherworldly realm, meeting spirits warped by sin, regret, and the bloody teeth of an unforgiving afterlife.

Doors will open 45 minutes prior to each show start to allow for ample time for audience members to read the dramaturgy board, which presents the myriad of research done during the creation of the work. Sunday's show will include a talkback with members of the cast and crew afterwards; be encouraged to stick around!
