29th Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival Hours and Cost

ADVANCED TICKET GENERAL ADMISSION $10.00 (GENERAL ADMISSION GOOD FOR ONE OF THE THREE DAYS - JULY 10, 11 OR 12):

• General Admission Ticket can be used on: Friday, July 10, 4-9:30 PM, Saturday, July 11, 12-9:30 PM OR Sunday, July 12, 12-8 PM.
• General Admission Advance Ticket Online Only $10.00 Per Person, Plus Tax and Convenience Fees.
• Onsite Parking is FREE.
• Children under age 16 will be provided with a Game Coupon voucher to play 8 carnival games included with admission. Some height, weight and ability restrictions apply.
• Advance Admission will allow faster access and avoid longer wait times.

ALL-WEEKEND ACCESS PASS $22.95 (ADVANCE ALL-WEEKEND ACCESS PASS GOOD FOR ALL THREE DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL):

• All-Weekend Access Pass can be used on Friday, July 10, 4-9:30 PM, Saturday, July 11, 12-9:30 PM AND Sunday, July 12, 12-8 PM.
• All-Weekend Access Pass $22.95 Per Person, Plus Tax and Convenience Fees.
• Onsite Parking is FREE.

CHILDREN ADMISSION:

• Admission for children under age 3 is FREE. Game Coupon Vouchers not given to children under 3 years old.

SENIOR & MILITARY ADMISSION:

• Senior and Military Personnel: $8.00 Per Person (Friday at the Gate ONLY) .

AT THE GATE:

• Admission purchased onsite at the Gate is $14.00.

FREE ADMISSION TIMES:

• Admission is free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings only. You do not need to purchase a ticket for morning gate entrances from 5 AM - 9 AM. Gates close promptly at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings and re-open open at 12 PM each day. You must purchase a ticket for Friday, Saturday after 12 PM and Sunday after 12 PM.

The 29th Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival will be held on July 10, 11, and 12, 2020. The festival is produced by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and we are proud to be back at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY.

The Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival has expanded significantly over the years, with thousands of people from all over the world attending as hot-air balloon pilots and spectators. Parking on-site is free for the entire weekend.

The Chamber is planning over 100 Hot-Air Balloon launches during the weekend, with mass hot-air balloon ascensions scheduled for the evenings of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and sunrise launches on Saturday and Sunday. There will be tethered balloon rides available at scheduled times for a fee of $20.00 per person, in cash only. All balloon activities are weather-and wind-permitting at the discretion of the pilot. If wind and weather conditions are not ideal and safe for ballooning the pilot(s) will not inflate or fly. Helicopter rides are available in advance by purchasing boarding passes online at Independent Helicopters website. The festival will take place rain or shine. Activities include: live bands, vendors, food trucks, family activities, and more. No dogs allowed. No outside food or beverages will be allowed, and all bags are subject to search.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY: When you enter a Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce (DCRCOC) event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by DCRCOC and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar DCRCOC events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of DCRCOC. You release DCRCOC, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by DCRCOC or the person or entity designated to do so by DCRCOC. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
