CENTRAL HUDSON GAS & ELECTRIC HOT-AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL HOTLINE: (845) 454-1701

As you can imagine, the considerable rain over this past week has caused a challenge with our parking in the farm fields at Tymor Park. We want to make sure everyone who has purchased a ticket has a safe place to park, without a chance of getting stuck in the mud. To that end, we have arranged for an alternate off-site shuttle nearby at Vail Farm Elementary/Middle School during EVENING launch times only. From 2:30pm on, please proceed directly to the school at 1659 E. Noxon Road, Lagrangeville, NY 12540 and you will be shuttled to the festival. On the shuttle, you must wear a face covering per New York State regulation of public transportation, regardless of vaccination status. If you do not have a face covering, we will have one for you.

If you are coming during the MORNING hours, then parking is on-site at 249 Duncan Road, Lagrangville, NY 12540.

Shuttle buses will be running continuously between the school and the park locations starting at 2:30pm, so you may arrive and depart at any time during that period. Any changes to the event schedule will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as www.balloonfesthv.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. Please enjoy the 30th Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival.

Dress appropriately including sturdy, closed-toe footwear and clothes you won’t mind getting dirty as parking is in a field. The donation ticket voucher allows for one vehicle to enter the parking area of Tymor Park and is not refundable under any circumstances as the proceeds from your donation will be applied toward the continuation of the festival next year. The use of bug and tick repellent and sunscreen is STRONGLY recommended. Outside food, beverages and coolers are prohibited with exception for baby formula. Picnic blankets and chairs are welcome, but please be courteous to other guests, observe 6' social distancing and face coverings when you're not vaccinated for COVID-19.

ALL BALLOONS TAKE-OFF AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE PILOT. All Hot-Air Balloon launches are wind and weather permitting. Sometimes, due to impending weather, wind, or other conditions, balloons will launch early, late or not at all. Please plan to arrive roughly 30 minutes prior to the scheduled launch time to ensure you see the balloon inflate and rise. Up-to-the-minute information about launch times and delays, will be available via the Chamber's Facebook and Twitter postings throughout the festival. All balloon activities are weather-and wind-permitting at the discretion of the pilot. If wind and weather conditions are not ideal and safe for ballooning the pilot(s) will not inflate or fly.

By making a donation you agree to all of the above terms and conditions and understand refunds and exchanges will not be issued under any circumstances.
