William Bohrer began his professional career in 2012, when he spontaneously filled in for the bass guitarist in a neo-soul band. Having grown up playing classical cello and guitar, participating in multiple orchestras and jazz bands, it seemed like a natural fit. This serendipitous performance has lead to numerous collaborations with an ever-expanding roster of San Francisco Bay Area talent.

He has a deep love for classic R&B, Brazilian music and Jazz, making him a intuitive and creative accompanist. His experience as a bandleader, songwriter, collaborator, and session player make him an invaluable fixture in any musical setting.
