BE-WITCHING HYDRO EXPERIENCE

WHEN: October 30 – Sunday

TIME: 7pm – 10pm (Tickets will be sold online as timed tickets by the hour)

RECOMMENDED FOR: Families with children and Tweens and Teens – This event would be considered rated: PG

COST: $13.00 per person (Suggested ages: 5 and up) Add an Escape Room for an additional $5.00

WHAT THE HECK IS IT: The Hydro is excited to announce something all new and exciting geared towards Family Halloween Fun with only a small amount of scary elements thrown in for good measure! We also encourage kids and families to come dressed in their HALLOWEEN COSTUMES and MAKEUP so they feel a part of the activity and can get some GREAT FAMILY PHOTOS while they are here!

 The following activities will be included in your admission price:

• Hydro walk thru with the normal night-time special effect lighting, air cannon scares will be turned on, Vortex tunnel will be on and rotating, our animated props will have the sound and lights on but will not actually come at people like they do for the regular scare experience. We will NOT have actual monsters inside the Hydro… our crew will be on hand to answer questions and assist you with flashlights, etc… to make sure you are going the right ways, etc…
• We will have a couple of the rooms set up inside of the Hydro specifically for PHOTO OPS and we will be shooting some fun VIDEO footage as well using one of our MONSTERS and some of the patrons creating some interactive role-playing videos. We will share the BEST OF these on our Facebook page and have an online voting contest where the BEST VIDEO would win $100.00 and the Runner-Up - $50.00.
• We will also have a 3 – Station Witches Story Book progressive Spell Walk that all can partake in as well. It is an original story that we created. It is a prototype idea we are test marketing on a smaller scale this year with hopes of increasing the amount of stations and potentially doing more of these for next year to include other Holiday seasons using themed characters. Halloween and Christmas are our main focus. Christmas would involve creating an amazing HOLIDAY THEMED ELF VILLAGE… all lit up featuring many elements including an original progressive story taking the children and families through a series of village huts and North Pole stops before ending up at Santa’s Workshop and maybe even seeing the Christmas Grouch too for some Holiday Keepsake Photos.
• On the top of the HOUR we will be doing a WITCHES DANCE that all are welcome to watch and dance along with if you would like. The video link to learning the dance ahead of time is listed in this event. The dance was created for use at the SANDUSKY WITCHES WALK. We have been given permission to use and do this at our event this season.
• In addition to all the included FUN ABOVE… we will have our Gift Shop and CONCESSION WAGON available to shop and enjoy some seasonal treats and MORE!
• We also HOPE to have a few Outdoor Bonfires Burning and be selling S’more kits for you to roast marshmallows and build those delicious and yummy treats. We are working with our local Fire Department to make this happen… so fingers crossed on this one… if it is a GO… I will make a POST on this event to update ONE and ALL.
