The year is 1781. The place - Hanover, Virginia. General Cornwallis is on the move and has stopped in to stay at Hanover Tavern, making it his temporary headquarters. He carries with him the fabled Cornwallis treasure made up of items his troops have purloined on their march through the South. His guards are everywhere. His troops camp around the Tavern grounds. He's left his room but could be back at any moment...

For safety reasons Hanover Tavern Foundation employees and volunteers may prevent entry into the game to people suspected of intoxication or of altered state or do not meet the conditions necessary to carry out the activity with guarantees of respect and safety for themselves, other participants, or property.
