Douglas Von Irvin’s Carnival have created a genre of music that has been described as the result of Roy Orbison and The Cramps having a baby, Monster Garage Pop.

Douglas Von Irvin is the mysteriously enigmatic lyrical mastermind, horror film historian, mouthpiece and namesake of the Carnival. Darryl Sterdan of Tinnists Magazine describes Von Irvin’s writing as an “artful invitation to escapism” with the “ultimate mission to whisk audiences on an adventurous, immersive mixed-media experience”.

Joining DVIC will be the Bay Area own Hot Laundry, who wowed us with their livestream during lockdowns and not return for an in-person show. Hot Laundry is a San Francisco outfit that is kicking out a fresh new take on our beloved rock n roll. Lead singer Janette Lopez will help you forget your worries and have you howling at the moon by the end of the night.
