From $265.00

Mon, June 10th, 2024 @ 9:00AM CDT (multiple times available)

Heritage Farmstead Museum Farm Camp is an unforgettable opportunity for children to get outside, explore nature and connect with history. Open to students entering Kindergarten through fifth grade, our week-long camps offer outdoor activities with a focus on history and farm life in the heart of Plano. Camp runs from 9am to 1pm Monday through Friday. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and water bottle each day.

Campers will be grouped by age (friend requests accepted), to form small groups that are led by trained camp counselors, under supervision of our Education staff.

Farm Camp has been designed to educate and inspire children, as well as build confidence, emphasize teamwork and maximize fun! Campers will experience all the best as a camper at the Heritage Farmstead Museum–exploring agricultural history, enjoying nature and creek life on our 4-acre historical site.

2024 Farm Camp Schedule

Farm Camp focuses on animal care and the exploration of our authentic historic site, including the adjacent Pittman Creek. Campers will experience life on the Blackland Prairie as it was at the turn of the twentieth century. Farm chores, outdoor games, explorations of our historic farmstead and Pittman Creek are all part of the Farm Camp experience.
