Ghastly Stories from Hell is a work in progress and will be presented as a staged reading where actors are reading from scripts in front of a set without blocking.
Relatives Damon, Jupiter and Jaden, find themselves trapped in the depths of hell. Without any knowledge of how they got there, they stumble upon ancient beings, claiming to rule the depths. However, these beings look identical to people they once knew in their lives, people they despised. These menacing demons, Mr. Esu, Bed Forrest, and Ms. Mildred takes the three on a journey to examine the sins of themselves and various people who affect their lives. This anthology show is meant to explore themes of violence, race, and American culture through both the satirical short stories inspired by various political and influential figures and the story of Damon, Jupiter, and Jaden.
