WHAT: Kayak Adventures on the Scenic Sandusky River and mesmerizing Sunsets on the Fremont Reservoir.

OPTIONAL ADD ONS: Fremont Ohio Optional Fun Adventure Trips and Experiences for all ages!

We are excited to offer the following optional ADD-ON Experiences while GOBA is in Fremont, Oh and Sandusky County this year:

SANDUSKY RIVER GUIDE-ASSISTED 2-HOUR RIVER TRIPS – Take full advantage of your time in our County and see the Scenic Sandusky River paddling down a remote and peaceful section that features many Bald Eagle Nests, other bird and wildlife sightings and beautiful nature surrounding you. INCLUDES: pick-up and return to Terra College, Transportation to Launch and pick-up at take out location. Kayak, Life Jacket, Paddle, Bottle of Water and knowledgeable guide to assist you with entry, take-out, questions and more! AGE RECOMMENDATIONS for this trip are 13 and above with 12 and under recommended to have distance kayaking experience or consider riding in a Tandem with an adult or guardian. Normal Price for this trip is $45.00 pp. plus taxes & fees.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR GOBA ADVANCED BOOKING PRICE: $30.00 pp plus tax

AVAILABILITY: We are looking at making this trip available Thursday and Friday – June 19/20th. We have 3 – Shuttle Buses and can take up to 45 people at one time. We have set up several departure times based upon discussions with organizers and online advanced sign up and pre-registration.

FREMONT RESERVOIR SUNSET PADDLE and/or INTRODUCTION TO KAYAKING – The Fremont Reservoir is only a short bike ride from Terra College and sits high above the road and offers the perfect wide open and clear view location to watch a breathtaking Ohio Sunset and sitting in a kayak in the water makes the experience even more memorable and fun! We will have our ACA Certified Instructors and Veteran Guides available to give group or personal help or instruction for those who have never kayaked before or might need some refresher training. AGE RECOMMENDATIONS for this experience are 10 and up in their own kayak or 9 and under riding in a Tandem with an adult or guardian. Normal Price for this experience is: $25.00 pp.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR GOBA ADVANCED BOOKING PRICE: $15.00 pp plus tax – if you ride your bike to this location. If you want to ride our Shuttle Bus to and from Terra it is $5.00 pp.- cash and you simply pay the driver.

AVAILABILITY: This experience will be available Thursday, or Friday – June 19-20. Sunset on these days is 9:04pm. We will offer this activity beginning at 7:00pm and ending no later than 9:30pm. ONLINE ADVANCED RESERVATIONS are HIGHLY SUGGESTED. Walk-in’s will be accepted based upon kayak availability and the fee for that is $20.00 per person plus the shuttle bus ride if you are in need of that for $5 more per person.
