Howan, an Asian indie pop-rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area, draws inspiration from a diverse mix of rhythmic funk, Midwest emo, and math rock. Their music blends fable-like storytelling with reflections on overseas experiences and hometown nostalgia, creating a uniquely free-spirited "Howan vibe." Their debut album, also titled Howan, recently earned recognition as one of the "Top 3 original albums in November 2023" at the NetEase Indie Music Awards, accumulating over 2 million streams across various music platforms.
The Blue City is a project started by 4 friends who share the love for pop & rock and anything groovy. Their music spans across genres and cultural boundaries, bringing in great energy and vibe to their live shows.
