WHAT IS IRISH ROAD BOWLING?

Irish Road Bowling is a sport in which competitors attempt to take the fewest throws (rolls) to propel a metal ball along a predetermined course of country roads. The sport originated in Ireland. The ball is a cannonball weighing 28 oz w/7" in circumference.

We compete with 2 person teams on a rural road approximately 1 mile in length.
