Detroit is full of innovation and inspriation and during this tour you’ll see how those themes are woven throughout the city. We will take you inside Detroit’s most innovative projects where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the doers that are inspiring people near and far. The route also includes a sampling of Detroit's neighborhoods including Downtown, Midtown, New Center, Brightmoor, Grandmont-Rosedale and Palemer Woods. Whether you’ve been in Detroit a day or a lifetime this tour will give you a better understanding of Detroit’s people, places and projects. 

 Stops Include: 

• Detroit Bikes

• Detroit Bikes are built in a city with manufacturing prowess and deep traditions of bicycle production. In the 50,000 square-foot factory they have the capacity to produce 100 bicycles a day, marking the return of high-volume US frame manufacturing.

• Artesian Farms

• Located in a formerly abandoned warehouse in one of the most distressed neighborhood in Detroit, Brightmoor, Artesian Farms provides sustainably-grown, pesticide-free, non-GMO, produce at fair price. 100% of their team is made up of people who live in Brightmoor.

• Good Cakes and Bakes

• Growing out of owner April Anderson’s love for baking from scratch, Good Cakes and Bakes is located along the historic Avenue of Fashion along Livernois on Detroit’s Westside. They provide quality baked goods that are wholesome and organic in nature in an environment that is positive, creative, educational and friendly to their employees and community. Bill Clinton and Oprah have sought April out because of her work in the kitchen and the community.

There are multiple ways to be part of this Detroit Experience.

3.
