Formed as a quartet in California in late 2016 the Magick Blues Band became a new force, such as the era from which they drew their style. Fusing rock and roll, folk, and jazz with avant-garde, visual, and literary traditions--they became a popular, distinguished, and resurgent band from the emerging San Jose music scene. Derived from a vessel sparked by vibrant global counterculture, they manage to create unique originals intertwined through the melodic resemblance of a classic era. Never playing the same setlist twice; Magick’s musical pursuit continues to grow throughout the Bay Area, reaching audiences all across the globe.
