South Bay guitarist Mason Razavi celebrates his birthday at Art Boutiki on April 15th by playing tunes from jazz guitarists past and present including Pat Metheny, Jim Hall, Wes Montgomery, and more. 

Razavi is a "melodically inventive composer" (San Jose Mercury News), who has been praised for his "sensitivity, soulfulness, and swing" (All About Jazz). He'll be joined by longtime collaborator Bennett Roth-Newell on piano, stalwart bassist Ken Okada, and fiery Oakland drummer Isaac Schwartz. The guitarist, recently a recipient of the Leigh Weimers Emerging Artist Award, will also be performing his originals and previewing selections from his upcoming solo guitar record.
