A Saturday Night Special from The Art Boutiki, Mount Saint Elias is singer/songwriter Joey Coe, Chilean percussionist Luna Fuentes, bassist Josiah Johnson (formerly of The Head and The Heart), and multi-instrumentalist Will Norman. Their music fuses the acoustic and lyric-forward approach of the folk music Coe grew up with in Kentucky with an electric and experimental tone of his adopted home of Oakland, CA. After band co-founder, vocalist, and housemate Tatyana Schmid was killed in a bicycle accident, the band realized nothing really matters, we're all going to die, and we might as well sing songs while we still can.
