Barbara and Dick Knoebel Memorial Scholarship

The PAPA Barbara and Dick Knoebel Memorial Scholarship was established to honor two individuals whose lives were defined by their unwavering commitment to Knoebels Amusement Resort, the amusement industry, and, most importantly, the people whose lives they touched.

Barbara and Dick believed in people. They encouraged others, recognized potential, and took great pride in helping young men and women grow both personally and professionally. Their legacy lives on by investing in the next generation, just as they invested in so many throughout their lives.

The PAPA Barbara and Dick Knoebel Memorial Scholarship Fund exists to invest in potential, open doors, and help students take the next step in their educational journey.

Your donation directly supports scholarships for hardworking students, helping ease the financial burden of tuition, books, and other educational expenses. More than just financial assistance, your gift represents encouragement, belief, and a vote of confidence in the next generation.

Scholarships are available to eligible full-time and seasonal full-time employees of Pennsylvania amusement parks and attractions that are members in good standing of the Pennsylvania Amusement Parks and Attractions Association (PAPA). Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in continuing education beyond high school for the upcoming fall semester.
