Notes:

• Classes will be limited to 10 athletes!!!!  Spots filled on a 1st completed/received basis.
• Classes this year will consist of, Men's and Women's Open, Men's and Women's 40-49, Men's and Women's 50+, AND... for this year ONLY, Men's and Women's Lightweights!
• Depending on the number of masters entries, we may put them all together and add a second open class the following day (to be scored as a separate class)
• Tentative class days as follows: Saturday; Opens and 40's. Sunday; Lightweights and 50+. (subject to entry numbers)
• Only society (SHA) implements will be used for competition
• Pre-registration fees for athletic competition: $40
• Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Events Information:

Competition will consist of the following six events:

Braemar Stone, Heavy & Light Weight for Distance, Caber, Weight over Bar & Sheaf. No Hammers will be contested due to field size. If time runs long, some events may be dropped.

Athletes must participate in all six events to qualify for the aggregate scoring. Leaving during the competition or a late arrival will put the athlete in "PR" only status.

Aggregate ties will be broken by number of 1st, 2nd, etc. in individual events. If still tied, Caber score will determine place.

Rules:

Competition will be conducted in accordance to SHA rules. These rules can be found HERE.

Athletes must be 18 years or older to compete.

All athletes must wear the official games shirt provided and kilt (with undergarments) during competition.

Check-in time for all athletes begins at 8:15am at the Heavy Events field tent and will close promptly at 8:45am.

Competition starts promptly at 9:00am. Athlete Meeting 8:55  (Weigh-in at scoring table during check-in. They may be done earlier if a judge is available.)
