Tour Host: Alan Irvine is an acclaimed storyteller and tour guide. He has been telling stories of Pittsburgh history for over 30 years. Lonely Planet guidebooks gave his tours their Top Choice ranking (2012). He has recorded 2 CDs of stories of area history, and many award-winning CDs of other types of stories. He teaches courses in Pittsburgh history for University of Pittsburgh’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, as well as teaching Sociology at Robert Morris University.
