In recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King’s Celebration of life, work, and excellence Change Agent Consortium and Detroit is Different present a concert of Soul. ‘Songs of Social Justice’ is a concert that will honor the soul music that played a role as a soundtrack throughout the Civil Rights Movement, Black Power Movement, Human Rights Movement, and Social Justice Movement. Pastor David Alexander Bullock (Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church & Preacher’s of Detroit) performs a mix of songs from legends like Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions, Bob Marley & the Wailers, and many more. Bullock’s work to bring about justice and equality is inspired by this mosaic of sound which empowers our people.

Detroit is Different and Change Agent Consortium host this grand event at the world’s oldest Jazz club, Baker’s Keyboard Lounge. In the heart of Detroit’s westside community, the stage where greats like Art Tatum, Ronnie Laws, and much more have played will now be graced by the vocal talents of D Alexander Bullock.
