A fantastic night of local music with something for everyone!

The first set is a Nashville-style writer's round with three of your favorite local singer-songwriters -- KENNY SCHICK, MIKE DREW, and MARTHA GROVES PERRY. Songwriter rounds offer an up close and personal chance to hear the stories that shape a song, then hear it performed in an intimate, solo acoustic listening room format. The songwriters share songs in turn, so often the song choices follow from a theme that arises from the writers' interactions. Come experience this profound moment of community and creativity; you will be the richer for it!

San Jose's own MERCY TERRACE takes the stage for a second set of original, 90s-style grunge rock. Mercy Terrace is a Bay Area alternative rock trio with Millhows on guitars & lead vocals, Peter Colclasure on bass & backing vocals, and Dennis Galway on drums. Don't be surprised if you find yourself stacking chairs to the side so you can shake a leg.

Expressionist Americana & Rock Artist KENNY SCHICK is a seasoned singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with an impressive, deep, and varied music career and five solo albums. MIKE DREW is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Northern California where he still lives today with his wife and three children. Mike, a self-taught pianist and vocalist, began writing songs as early as 15 years old. His first love is baseball, which led him to Eastern Tennessee to attend college at Lincoln Memorial University. This is where Mike found his true passion of Country Music. Mike is playing some of the hottest venues in the Bay Area with his band “Mike Drew Band” in 2024, outlined on his website www.mikedrewband.com.

MARTHA GROVES PERRY is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in San Francisco, California. Her original music has a straightforward, compelling and sometimes edgy clarity. Her penetrating lyrics reflect the fearless truth-telling and unbothered amusement of a seasoned, female point of view. In Call Out, her most recent release, her songwriting takes a bold turn mixing with flavors of PJ Harvey, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, and traditional Americana in genre-bending performances complemented by her compelling vocal palette.
