About the book

Join transgender icons Gigi Gorgeous and Gottmik as they share their unique stories and valuable insight in this inspiring and important guide to all things gender expression.

Gigi Gorgeous and Gottmik have globally inspired millions online, on TV, on stage, and in an award-winning documentary with their honest, hilarious, and GORGEOUS tales of what it means to be true to oneself. In The T Guide, Gigi and Gottmik speak candidly with each other about their own trans journeys. Join the conversation as they share stories about everything from coming out and deciding on a name to tips for more masculine or feminine features and medical vs. non medical options for transitioning.

Everyone’s transitioning process is unique and The T Guide looks to provide a sense of support for everyone (along with some levity) -- no matter where they are on their journey. This includes anecdotes and advice from other advocates, activists, and allies across the gender spectrum, like musician Adam Lambert, U.S. Senator Sarah McBride, and the iconic Paris Hilton.

In recent years, the trans experience has become part of the international discourse and a passionately discussed topic, however, many people don’t fully understand what it means to be trans or what transitioning involves. This book is also for allies, parents + guardians, and anyone else looking to better understand and learn more about the trans experience.

The T Guide is written to be a resource, but also a guide to encourage and comfort those going on their own journey of self-discovery.
