The Urban Artist Market plans their fifth show on June 12-13, 2021, at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria. The indoor curated show features the work of more than 50 regional artisans from a variety of disciplines in a COVID-aware environment.

“Original art and creative expression build the local economy,” said Producer Christopher J. Miller. “After a challenging 2020, I’m thrilled to be returning the show to Addison, directly on the service road of the North Dallas Tollway at the Belt Line exit.” The Addison show takes place within 15 miles of Frisco, Highland Park, North Dallas, Plano, University Park and Plano.

The Urban Artist Market was the first local art event to produce a COVID-aware event last year. The Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria will continue in these footsteps by following the highest standards in safety and sanitation protocols, and masks will be required on the show floor by exhibitors and attendees.

Attendees will be delighted and amazed by various distinctive, one-of-a-kind creations in 2D painting, ceramics, pottery, mosaic, stained and fused glass, fiber art, print photography, sculpture, jewelry, collage, mixed media, and much, much more.

The Urban Artist Market plans a concurrent “Best of Show” juried competition showcase presented during the event and available for viewing. “We wanted to focus on our core mission,” said Miller. “Providing our artists with the opportunity to sell their work and receive recognition for their talent.”
