is the first annual fundraiser for the GENERATIONAL WEALTH BUILDER FUND NFP (GWBF) where we will be hosting a wine tasting fundraiser featuring wines from Chicago's black owned wineries 

Founded two years ago by me, Lauren Chaplin-Providence, the past principal of the first black female owned and controlled investment bank and securities brokerage firm in the country, I(AKA Ms. New York), this nonprofit organization's goal is to serve the "commUNiTYs" she's come to love. GWBF"s mission is to fight in the battle against disparities in wealth accumulation within marginalized communities by providing free culturally relevant tools and resources to assist it's members in creating and sustaining a financial fingerprint towards building generational wealth for individuals and families. 

This year's flagship event is dedicated to the theme of 

UNAPOLOGETICALLY AND INTENTIONALLY PATRONIZING BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES.

When you purchase your ticket(s), I'll send you our mini-course on wine tasting 101, curated especially for my guests at this event. 

TICKETS INCLUDE:

1. The event begins with a video stroll through the areas we service with a creative video presentation of New York Times famed Tonika Lewis's FOLDED MAP PROJECT. We'll be looking at our areas from both a nostalgic and futuristic standpoint.

2. An extensive charcuterie paired to the wine and other libations being sampled. 

3. A brief awards and dedication to the movers and shakers in the communities we serve. They include Babette Peyton a Para-olympic star, Asiaha Butler, an innovator in community development and co-founder of RAGE, the Residents Association of Greater Englewood and Tonika Lewis, RAGE co-founder, and "socio-economic" artist and creator of THE FOLDED MAP PROJECT.

4. Wine Pulls, craft beer brewery pulls, spirit pulls, raffles of products from black owned companies, silent auction of black owned company products such as yours.

5. Complimentary product samples from local black owned businesses

6. Networking and socializing

7. Live music and haute cuisine edibles… that's bougie for a damn good charcuterie

8. SWAG, SWAG and more SWAG. Gas and grocery vouchers will be given away along with restaurant vouchers with values up to $500. There's a couple of trip giveaways, hotel vouchers for stays up to two weeks, inclusive vacations merch and more. 

Every body is leaving with something! 

The ticket price will include a special curated bottle of wine, possibly from one of our black owned wineries nationwide and samples of various product(s) and promotional materials from curated black owned businesses. 

... And wine.

Proceeds are for future funding for the benefit of YES, our Young Entrepreneurship Services.

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS

We will welcome 50 to 100 of your samples for our guests swag bags. PLEASE REQUEST SUBMISSION.of your product samples and marketing materials by November 4th, 2023. You may bring your samples 30 minutes prior to the event but not past 6pm.
